electrify watertown —  A City of Watertown program helping residents access heat pump coaching, incentives, and clean energy support.

Become a Heat Pump Coach

Interested in helping your neighbors learn about heat pumps and access clean energy solutions?

We are recruiting local residents to become Heat Pump Coaches! Coaches will receive training and support to help community members understand how heat pumps work, explore whether a heat pump is right for their home, and learn about available incentives and rebates.

The goal is to build a network of trained local residents who can provide trusted, one-on-one guidance and help make heat pump adoption more accessible in our community.

— Get Involved

What Does a Heat Pump Coach Do?

After completing the training, Heat Pump Coaches will help residents:

Learn the basics of heat pumps and how they can heat and cool a home
Understand the benefits and considerations of switching to a heat pump
Explore available incentives, rebates, and other financial assistance
Navigate the process of getting started with a heat pump project
Connect with trusted resources and programs
Feel more confident taking the next step toward home electrification

Coaches are not expected to be contractors or heat pump experts. The training will provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to support residents and connect them with the right resources.
